In this subtitle, the following words have the meanings indicated.
(1) "Private sewerage system" means a system of sewers and appurtenances for the collection and treatment of sewage located in private property and disposed of into the soil.
(2) "Semi-public sewerage system" means a system of sewers and appurtenances for the collection, transportation, and treatment of sewage and industrial wastes operated by an individual or commercial enterprise solely for a single ownership property and operated under the supervision of the Department of Public Works.
