§ 17-6-106. FEMA map revisions and amendments.

- When a floodplain analysis establishes a floodplain limit that differs from the floodplain limit shown on the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Floodplain Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) or proposed structure s are shown in the FIRM floodplain but not in the floodplain limit established by the floodplain analysis, the developer shall apply for a revision or amendment to the affected FIRM and obtain a letter of acceptance from FEMA before recordation of the record plat or issuance of a building or grading permit.(Bill No. 3-05; Bill No. 59-10)
