(a) Generally. A proposed disposition of real property under this title shall be advertised at least once a week for three consecutive weeks in one or more newspapers published in the County. The advertisement shall state the terms of the disposition and the compensation to be received and shall provide an opportunity for the filing of objections to the disposition.
(b) Objection and hearing. An objection to a proposed disposition shall be filed with the Chief Administrative Officer within 10 days after the last notice of publication, and the Chief Administrative Officer shall schedule a hearing on objections not later than 45 days after the last notice of publication. The Chief Administrative Officer shall conduct the hearing on objections and render a decision within 10 days after the date of the hearing.
(c) No objection or no sustained objection. If no objections to a proposed disposition are filed, or if the Chief Administrative Officer determines after a hearing that no objection should be sustained, the County Executive may execute appropriate instruments and documents to effectuate the disposition.
